CAN I JUST SHOW UP AND PERFORM ?

I would really prefer you contact Me first just so I know you’re coming and can stay in touch about any changes. If you show up without notice ,then we put you on at the end if there is still a party going on. I do not sweat the small stuff. It’s a party ! I want to meet Bellydancers !

IS THERE A TIME LIMIT ? Yes, but I’m On the fence about what that limit should be….Let’s plan for a time limit of 5 minutes per piece . 2 pieces per performer . ??? If we get really full, attendance with robust participation I’ll call and see if you are willing to cut back to one piece. I’m more likely to just let the party go long, though. Advice ?

WHAT TO SELECT ? Keep it entertaining but not too edgy, please! We have plenty of space on the sprung wood dance floor. Do what you love. Troupes , solos, it’s all welcome.It’s pretty wide open right now. I think there should be limit on how many sword dances are featured so they don’t lose their mystique.

HOW DO I PREPARE: Bring Your music on a device and some cords. I’ll have a lot of cords, too. W’ell get it to work.I even have a CD player . I prefer NOT to “pull it up’ from the cloud or Youtube.

.This is small mountain town that’s just beginning to realize that Bellydance is OK for a small town family audience . I respectfully ask that you costume to please all audiences . LIBATIONS? Alcohol is fine by Me. BYOB is a good idea, however, Some Beer and Wine will be on display and a PWYC jar. Underage guests must be accompanied by a responsible adult , and they not be served alcohol.

Hot appetizers will be in the kitchen. W’ell have plenty.

IS THERE ANY REASON THIS COULD BE CANCELLED ? Yes, Hurricane forces would necessitate cancellation because HARD POUNDING RAIN really compromises the sound in this warehouse studio. And driving in those conditions is unsafe. Regular rain is OK .Scary tornado -like weather is a deal breaker here.
